Description
The Town of Dolores is soliciting bids from qualified general contractors for Phase 2 waterline improvements. The work includes installing approximately 8,250 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water mains, fire hydrants, gate valves, fittings, water service lines, and related appurtenances; connecting the new mains to the existing distribution system; and testing, disinfecting, and commissioning the system. Contractors must restore disturbed roadways, sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, and other surfaces to equal or better condition. The project anticipates funding through the Colorado State Revolving Fund loan program and the Environmental Protection Agency's Community Grant program, with applicable federal and state revolving-fund requirements. A bid bond of at least 5% of the maximum bid price is required. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory, and bids will not be accepted from bidders who do not attend.
