Description
The Town of Cortlandt Department of Environmental Services is soliciting proposals for two uniform program options. Option I covers the purchase of work clothing for participating employees, including shirts, pants, sweatshirts, outerwear, required colors and sizes, DES logo screen printing, showroom-based employee selection and sizing, order management, quality control, and delivery or pickup notification. The solicitation states that employees may receive up to $250 each for approved items and identifies participating departments and employee counts. Option II covers rental, washing, replenishment, and weekly delivery and pickup of assigned uniforms, including high-visibility shirts and outerwear, sweatshirts, and DES-logo apparel. The vendor must provide new uniforms, maintain consistent assignments, launder and replenish the uniforms, and support implementation within 30 days of contract commencement. Proposers may submit for either option, and the Town may make multiple awards. A formal sealed proposal, including the proposer’s format and sample order sheets, is required.
