Description
The project covers modernization of a group of two overhead geared traction passenger elevators. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, and services needed for the elevator work and related trades, including electrical and fire-alarm coordination, new elevator controls and safety features, cab communication systems, and associated machine-room and elevator electrical upgrades. The work also includes inspections, testing, commissioning, required permits, closeout documentation, and maintenance during the project and for one year after substantial completion. The hospital will remain operational during construction, so the contractor must coordinate work to limit disruption and comply with the facility’s health, safety, visitor, and infection-prevention requirements. Proposals must include a project schedule, technical and personnel experience, methodology, health and safety/IPAC information, at least three client references, pricing, a Domestic Supply Chain Plan, required licenses and certificates, a bid bond, and an agreement to bond.
