Description
The Defense Health Agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract for full-service maintenance and troubleshooting of six Government-owned Terumo BCT 81000-Trima Accel blood processors. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, equipment, materials, travel, transportation, tools, and telephone technical support needed for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration, replacement of worn or defective parts, and OEM-sponsored modifications. Only OEM repair parts and OEM-recommended substitutions or modifications may be used, and assigned technicians must be manufacturer-certified or otherwise qualified as OEM technicians. Repairs must restore units to full operation within three working days of malfunction notification, with telephone response within four hours during normal duty hours and six hours after hours, on weekends, and holidays. The contractor must also provide a quality control plan, supporting repair documentation, installation access and security compliance, required training, and monthly invoice submission through the Wide Area Workflow system. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals; interested parties may submit capability information for consideration of a competitive procurement.
