Description
The Wyoming State Construction Department, on behalf of the Wyoming Department of Corrections, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from licensed architects, engineers, and consultants for the replacement of three existing boilers: two commercial units at the Wyoming Women's Correctional Facility and one light-commercial unit at the Warden's Residence. The replacement systems must meet or exceed high-efficiency condensing boiler specifications. The scope includes field investigation, site assessments, load calculations, boiler sizing, piping and venting design, gas-supply resizing, Category IV corrosion-resistant venting, condensate neutralization, electrical upgrades, boiler-control integration with the facility's Building Automation System, architectural and structural design, sealed drawings, regulatory permit submittals, and bid-management support. The work also requires consideration of correctional-facility security protocols and potential insulation abatement before demolition. Responses must be submitted through the Public Purchase online bidding system using State of Wyoming forms.
