Description
The Town seeks a tenant for a lease of its historic, approximately 3,292-square-foot property, comprising commercial space on the first floor and additional space and a garage intended for storage. Proposers must submit a technical proposal describing their organization and experience, proposed use, business plan, and financial ability to meet lease obligations, along with a separate price proposal stating monthly rent by lease year and any increases. A refundable deposit equal to one month’s proposed rent is required as a certified bank check. Proposals will be evaluated on proposed rent, organizational experience, and compatibility and preservation of the property. The initial lease term is five years, with two optional one-year extensions by mutual written agreement. The selected lessee will be responsible for utilities, insurance, maintenance, and obtaining permits and approvals for its use.
