Description
The Henry County Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 1 stadium improvements at Abbeville High School. Bids will be publicly opened after the submission deadline. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will include an opportunity to inspect the project site and discuss the work with the owner and architect. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Henry County Board of Education must accompany each proposal in an amount of at least 5% of the bid, capped at $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Bidders must use the architect's proposal form or a copy, and applicable general contractors must hold an Alabama license and display the current license number on the sealed envelope.
