Description
The Enterprise City Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids from prequalified general contractors for the Enterprise High School Baseball and Softball Turf Replacement project. The work will convert the existing natural-grass playing surfaces to synthetic turf and includes demolition of the existing turf, root zone, and irrigation; subgrade improvement and grade correction; reinforced-concrete perimeter header curbs; perimeter underdrain and flat drain connections to the existing storm drainage system; stone subbase and turf buildup; synthetic turf and infill for the fields, bullpens, and batting cages; new field fencing and gates; and restoration of construction-access and laydown areas. Prequalification is required, and only general contractors approved through the owner's prequalification process may bid. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required. Bids must be submitted on the architect's proposal forms or copies, accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing.
