The Alabama Department of Public Health is soliciting floor-care services for approximately 8,800 square feet of VCT flooring at the Dale County Health Department. The work includes stripping and waxing all VCT flooring twice per year, including removing and replacing furniture if needed, and cleaning and scrubbing grouted areas once per year. Exact service dates will be determined by the agency. The awarded supplier must provide all chemicals, materials, and equipment. Subcontracting is strictly prohibited; the personnel performing the work must be the owner or a legal employee of the awarded supplier. Attendance at a mandatory, appointment-only site visit is required, and quotes from vendors that did not attend will not be considered. The contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with annual renewals permitted by written agreement for up to five years total or a maximum total contract cost of $25,000, including renewals.
