Description
Davidson County is seeking a qualified firm to provide engineering services for building commissioning throughout all phases of design and construction of a planned 124,280-square-foot detention center. The scope may include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and exterior-envelope commissioning and testing, along with the facility's necessary infrastructure. Respondents must submit written qualifications and a proposed approach. Proposals are limited to 20 single-sided pages, or 10 double-sided pages, using at least 12-point font; advertising material will not be considered. The county will use a qualifications-based selection process, may interview qualified firms, and will negotiate with the best-qualified firm. Demonstrated experience and expertise in building commissioning and testing services are required, with experience from the previous five years preferred.
