The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for emergency armed and unarmed security guard services for Region 1. Services are required Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time on an as-needed basis, with a response time of one hour for service calls. The contract term is one year, with two one-year renewal options, and a potential one-year extension. Bidders must have at least three years of relevant experience, and personnel assigned to the contract must have at least one year of experience and be licensed as required. Background checks are mandatory for all personnel assigned to the contract. The historical spend for similar services was $225,000.00.
