Description
The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society, Inc. is soliciting bids for armed security services for the Adirondack Railroad, specifically along the Remsen to Tupper Lake corridor. The services required include on-site patrols, incident reporting, and responding to potential security threats and issues. The successful bidder will be required to complete roadway worker protection classes, operating rules classes, and any other training mandated by the Adirondack Railway Preservation Society, the Federal Railroad Administration, and/or NYSDOT. The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society will provide the necessary training. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount is required with each submission. Bids will remain binding for 45 days from the bid opening date.
