Description
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is soliciting a contractor to provide wastewater testing and monitoring services for the Pickwick Landing State Park wastewater treatment facility. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials; conduct weekly biological solids, fecal coliform, and settable solids testing; perform chlorine and discharge water-quality testing five days per week; submit test results through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Central Data Exchange; and compile required regulatory reports. The contractor will also function as the facility's Operator in Charge, including operating, calibrating, reading, modifying, and performing basic troubleshooting of equipment. Respondents must maintain active Tennessee certifications and licenses for collection systems, aerated lagoon system plant operation, and biological natural systems, and must submit copies with the bid. At least two comparable project references are required. The contract term is 60 months, with an optional extension of up to 180 days; housekeeping, daily equipment checks, routine maintenance, and repairs remain the park's responsibility.
