Description
Athens State University intends to pursue a special procurement for a seven-year, four-month contract with Ellucian Company, LLC. The contemplated scope includes renewal of the university’s existing enterprise resource platform core and product components; upgraded hosted, subscription, and managed cloud services for the platform and related software; and software development maintenance services for the platform-related services. The anticipated contract value is not to exceed $10,100,000. The university states that the procurement is unusual or unique because of implementation time, university resource requirements, industry standards, cost considerations, and the need for consistent student experiences, and therefore believes competitive sealed bidding or competitive sealed proposals would be contrary to the public interest. The university intends to investigate available enterprise resource platform opportunities to determine whether a future formal Request for Proposal process is feasible. Additional contract details are to be provided at the October 16, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting.
