Description
The City seeks maintenance of concrete medians and public rights-of-way at locations listed in the contract documents. The work includes three concrete median maintenance cycles and eight right-of-way trimming cycles per year, with labor, equipment, materials, traffic control, and litter and debris removal included. Median work includes trimming vegetation and applying approved weed-control spray; right-of-way work includes mowing and hand trimming. The contractor must clean the areas before each cycle and dispose of litter legally. The agreement has a one-year term, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Work is to begin within 10 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, and each cycle must be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days. A 5% bid bond is required. The bid response also requires a completed Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, a Bid for Physical Improvements form, the online unit-price schedule, and the City's combined contracting certification. A joint-venture affidavit and agreement are required only for joint-venture proposals. Insurance certificates and a business license are required before contract approval, not with the bid.
