Description
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed-price purchase order to repair rear main seal leaks on the 49406 BUSL vessel for the U.S. Coast Guard's Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). The vessel is currently hauled out of the water, and the repairs will require the removal of reduction gears. The contractor will be responsible for troubleshooting the source of the leaks, acquiring necessary parts and supplies, and performing the repairs. This includes moving reduction gears to access the seals. The contractor must provide all necessary tools, power, and lighting. Certified Marine Mechanics are designated as key personnel. The place of performance is IPF Boston, 476 Hanover ST Exd, Boston, MA 02109. The period of performance is from the date of award through September 25, 2026.
