Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is offering a licensing opportunity for its SurfGraphPro technology. This AI-powered tool transforms complex protein structures into an easily analyzable format, enabling researchers to rapidly identify binding sites, predict molecular interactions, and understand protein behavior with enhanced speed and scalability. SurfGraphPro addresses the limitations of traditional computational approaches by converting protein surfaces into a graph-based representation that preserves both physical shape and biochemical information. This allows machine learning models to process protein structures more efficiently, reducing computational burden and manual feature engineering. Key advantages include faster protein analysis, preservation of structural and chemical details, and support for diverse applications such as drug discovery, antibody design, and pathogen detection. The technology is currently at Technology Readiness Level 3 (TRL 3) and has a pending US patent (LA-UR-26-23589). LANL's licensing program aims to commercialize inventions developed by its researchers through exclusive and non-exclusive licensing agreements. This opportunity is for licensing the technology, not for external services for its development.
