Description
The City of University Park seeks informal quotes from qualified suppliers for approximately 300 tons per year of bulk dry Type 1L Portland cement for public works construction, maintenance, and repair activities. The cement must conform to applicable ASTM C-150 requirements, be fresh and free of contamination or moisture damage, and be supplied at a firm delivered price per ton. The City may request mill certifications or test reports verifying compliance. Orders will generally be placed in approximately 25-ton truckload increments and must be delivered within 48 hours unless an alternate schedule is approved. The supplier must provide a pneumatic cement pump truck or pressurized delivery vehicle, along with all equipment, hoses, connections, and trained personnel needed to transfer the cement into the City's storage silo. Quotes must include product, transportation, fuel, pneumatic unloading, and delivery costs. Vendors must complete the Pricing and Vendor Questionnaire sections, provide three to five comparable references, and upload the required Texas Vendor Certifications and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire.
