Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to provide semiannual, annual, and five-year elevator and dumbwaiter inspection and testing services at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The active inventory includes 15 elevators and five dumbwaiters or cartlifts. The base year includes separate annual Category 1 and five-year Category 5 testing performed concurrently, while the option years cover semiannual and annual services. Services must be performed by qualified ASME QEI-1-certified inspectors during standard business hours, with the VA's maintenance contractor providing mechanic support and test weights. Offerors must submit technical capability documentation, proof of required insurance coverage, a description of their technical approach, the completed VAAR Clause 852.219-75 limitations-on-subcontracting certification, and separately priced base and option-year line items. The contractor must provide signed service reports within one week of each service in Adobe PDF by email and as a printed copy. Amendment 0003 removes the asbestos-specific exclusion language from the insurance requirement; general liability, workers' compensation/employers' liability, and automobile liability coverage remain required.
