Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing a solicitation for black liner socks (NSN: 8440-01-415-5895). This is a 100% small business set-aside opportunity for a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery type contract with a 60-month ordering period, consisting of five 12-month price tier periods. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 136,000 pairs, with an annual estimated quantity of 544,000 pairs per tier, and a maximum contract quantity of 3,400,000 pairs. Evaluation will be based on a combination of Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) and Past Performance/Performance Confidence Assessment, with technical factors being more important than cost or price. Offerors must submit two size large PDMs from each proposed place of performance, along with a history of their experience from the past three years. Alternate materials are not permitted, and all materials must comply with the Berry Amendment. RFID is required at the package, case, and pallet levels. Delivery is FOB Destination to Travis, Austin, TX and Pendergrass Distribution Center, Pendergrass, GA.
