Description
The University of Kentucky is soliciting proposals from qualified hotel and lodging providers to establish a contractual agreement for the provision of lodging accommodations in support of UK HealthCare. The selected contractor(s) will provide safe, clean, and appropriately maintained overnight and extended-stay lodging for eligible patients, and as applicable their families or caregivers, who require lodging due to medical treatment, follow-up care, or extended care coordination. Services include year-round availability including weekends and holidays, accessible rooms, appropriate safety and security measures, bilingual front-desk staffing or equivalent language support, reservation and coordination processes including after-hours and last-minute requests, authorization and billing controls, fixed medical rate pricing with waived amenity or facility fees, and direct billing to UK HealthCare. The contract term is one year with up to four additional one-year renewal periods. Proposals must be submitted by September 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM Lexington time.
