Description
Pierce County is soliciting bids for electrical lighting-control replacement at its Central Maintenance Facility. The work includes replacing existing lighting control panels with a new, integrated networked lighting management system; providing a central lighting control station; installing wiring for integration with the local Ethernet network; and furnishing and installing associated panels, relays, switches, occupancy sensors, photocells, low-voltage wiring, software, and system infrastructure across six buildings. The contractor must provide complete electrical installation, demolition and removal of existing equipment, testing, commissioning support, system programming, owner training, shop drawings, product data, wiring diagrams, and operation and maintenance documentation. The project estimate for the basic work is $325,000 to $400,000, excluding Washington State sales tax. Basic work must be substantially complete within 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
