Description
Millington Community Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from an electrical contractor responsible for all-trades work to install new natural-gas generator systems at Meachum Elementary School and Millington Jr./Sr. High School. The work includes furnishing and installing owner-supplied generators and automatic transfer switches, generator enclosures, electrical feeders and controls, underground and above-ground natural-gas piping, concrete equipment pads, sitework, firestopping, testing, commissioning, and coordination with existing building systems. The Meachum Elementary system is specified as a 100 kW/125 kVA natural-gas generator serving kitchen loads, while the Jr./Sr. High School system is specified as a 200 kW/225 kVA natural-gas generator serving kitchen and other designated emergency loads. The project is a prevailing-wage construction project, and the successful contractor must provide required submittals, permits, inspections, warranties, and closeout documentation.
