Description
The National Human Genome Research Institute, within the National Institutes of Health, is soliciting applications for a cooperative agreement to establish and operate the GREGoRi Data Coordination and Outreach Center. The center will coordinate submission, quality control, standards, management, and release of genomic, molecular, metadata, and phenotypic data generated by consortium research groups, including whole-genome sequencing, DNA methylation, chromatin accessibility, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data. The recipient will support integration of computational and analytical tools into the consortium data ecosystem; facilitate interoperability, resource federation, and collaboration with related research programs; host data-analysis workshops and consortium meetings; maintain communication platforms and a public-facing web portal; coordinate outreach; and disseminate data, protocols, software, and other research products through appropriate repositories. NIH anticipates one award, intends to commit $2 million in fiscal year 2027, and limits applications to $1.25 million in direct costs per project year. Clinical trials are not allowed, and the maximum project period is five years.
