Description
The County of Union is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to administer a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program for approximately 1,871 active County employees and their immediate families. Required services include 24-hour, seven-day-a-week counseling, intervention, and intake; employee and family assessment and counseling; referrals to qualified counseling providers; access for uninsured employees; confidentiality and secure records management; emergent on-site visits; and evaluations and counseling related to positive drug or alcohol tests in accordance with County policy and applicable Department of Transportation commercial-driver requirements. The selected provider must also deliver supervisory referral training, an implementation plan with staff-training timelines, monthly compliance reports for supervisory referrals, completion letters when employees leave the program, and quarterly utilization reports. Proposals must include a technical proposal, detailed cost proposal or fee schedule, relevant staff qualifications, and references for similar engagements. The anticipated contract period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.
