Description
Northside Independent School District seeks a contractor to repair and respond to emergencies involving commercial kitchen fire suppression systems at district campuses and facilities. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials; maintain a 24/7/365 emergency contact line; and meet specified response times, including on-site arrival within two hours for emergencies and within 24 hours for routine requests. Work includes testing, maintenance, repairs, and post-service reporting in accordance with NFPA 17A and applicable codes. The district’s system list covers numerous school kitchens and identifies multiple installed system brands. Bidders must hold Texas State Fire Marshal Class A or K licenses and applicable manufacturer certifications, and submit copies with their bids. Proposals must include fixed labor rates for regular hours, after-hours, and holiday emergency work. Pricing must include a minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor. Subcontracting requires the district’s prior written approval.
