Description
The City of Clermont issued a Request for Information to determine whether Ring Rescue products are available from any qualified source other than Med Alliance. The identified product is a specialized ring-removal system consisting of a ring-cutting tool and a pneumatic compression device designed to reduce finger swelling and facilitate safe, efficient removal of stuck rings. The estimated annual expenditure is $5,000. Med Alliance is identified as the exclusive Florida distributor for Ring Rescue products, and respondents are asked to provide information demonstrating their ability to provide the same or an equivalent product or service. Pricing information should not be included. The notice states that this is not an invitation to submit a bid or quote and that the sole-source process may be discontinued if a legitimate alternative source is identified.
