Description
The City of Platteville is soliciting bids for wholesale-plus-markup supply and delivery of diesel fuel and gasoline from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. The contractor must periodically inspect and refill above-ground tanks at specified City locations, maintain tanks at least half full, provide a local phone number, and deliver within 24 hours of a request. The scope includes diesel fuel, unleaded gasoline without ethanol, E-10 gasoline, and unleaded gasoline for a truck-mounted tank, with specified octane, cetane, sulfur, demulsifier, and biofuel requirements. Alternate bids cover fuel deliveries to University of Wisconsin–Platteville facilities, including Facilities Management and Pioneer Farm, with operating-hour and delivery-ticket requirements. Bidders must include a sample invoice identifying the terminal of origin, terminal price, product, gallons, location, wholesale price, markup, and applicable taxes. The contractor must maintain specified public liability, property damage, automobile liability, petroleum spill, and workers' compensation-related insurance.
