Description
Finger Lakes Community College is seeking a courier to pick up and deliver interoffice mail and copy work orders among five campus locations. Service is currently scheduled twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with holiday exclusions. The scope includes pickups and deliveries at each campus center, using the College’s courier bags and cartons; individual bags and cartons may weigh up to 25 pounds. Main-campus pickups must reach all destinations the same day by 8:00 p.m.; campus-center pickups destined for the main campus must arrive by noon the following business day. Quotes must include a monthly price for the current schedule, plus weekly and daily rates for potential schedule changes. The contract is for 12 months from award, with up to two 12-month renewals by mutual agreement. The solicitation also requires proof of insurance with the quote, including workers’ compensation, disability, and liability coverage; the stated general liability occurrence limit is $1,000,000. The College may adjust the schedule with two weeks’ notice.
