Description
The project includes approximately 1,370 linear feet of 6-inch force main installation, associated air-release valve manholes, and approximately 270 linear feet of directional drilling beneath Silver Creek. Pump Station 32 work includes upgrades with new pumps, controls, a generator, and a valve vault, as well as entrance-drive and site work. Bids are unit-price proposals for the work shown in the plans and specifications. Bidders must submit bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, in the form of a certified check or bid bond. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to the awarded contract price and required insurance certificates after award and before beginning work. Award is to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
