Description
Clark County seeks qualified engineering consultants to inspect and inventory county highway bridges in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards. The work covers county highway bridges, including bridges within cities and towns, but excludes state highway bridges, federal land bridges, and privately owned bridges. Inspection types include routine, fracture-critical, underwater, complex, element, and special inspections, with frequencies and justifications required for applicable inspections. The program is phased across 2028–2031, with compliance in March of each phase year. The Letter of Interest must describe the firm’s qualifications, key staff, workload capacity, and project approach, including confirmation of a site visit and technical understanding. Required prequalification categories include regular, complex, and underwater/in-water bridge inspection, as well as bridge load capacity rating and other bridge analysis/training. The contract runs until the project is complete; the DBE goal is 0%.
