Description
The State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is issuing this Request for Proposal for a Licensee Assistance Program (LAP). The contractor will develop and maintain a statewide program providing education, referral assistance, and monitoring of compliance with substance use disorder treatment for health credential holders. Services include in-person substance use assessments/evaluations, referral to treatment providers, temporary counseling, pre-licensure assessments, monitoring of credential holders including body fluid screens, and educational outreach. The contract term is four years with no renewal options, but DHHS may extend the period if mutually agreeable. The contractor must have a physical location in the Lincoln or Omaha metro area and licensed staff (e.g., LIMHP dually licensed as LADC, Psychologist, MD).
