Description
Lincoln County is seeking comprehensive architectural and engineering consulting services for phased renovations to its approximately 72,000-square-foot historic courthouse and connected administration building. The selected consultant will assess structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, accessibility, hazardous materials, energy efficiency, foundation, exterior finishes, historic preservation, interior layouts, and space needs. The work must comply with applicable regulations and ADA requirements while respecting the courthouse’s historic character. The scope includes prioritized repair and improvement recommendations, funding-strategy assistance, schematic design, detailed cost estimates, phasing recommendations, coordination with County officials and relevant agencies, public presentations, and—subject to approval of the first two phases—complete construction documents, bidding and contractor-selection assistance, and construction administration. Proposals must include firm and team qualifications, historic-renovation experience, similar project examples, methodology and timeline, phase-by-phase pricing, hourly rates for out-of-scope work, references, and evidence of professional liability insurance. A representative must attend the required site visit for the proposal to be considered.
