Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Charlottesville is soliciting proposals to establish a term contract for as-needed geotechnical services supporting sitework, building construction, and other City construction and infrastructure projects. Required services may include subsurface exploration through test borings or other tests, laboratory testing, analysis of earth materials, reporting, consultation, and coordination with the City, design professionals, contractors, and other project participants. The contract may be awarded to multiple firms and will be used through project-specific task assignments. Offerors must provide qualified and appropriately licensed personnel, quality-control procedures, prompt reporting, and availability to respond to ongoing construction needs. Proposals must address methodology and practice, experience and portfolio, staffing and subconsultants, ability and availability, references, and planned participation by small, women-owned, minority-owned, micro, employment-services, and veteran-owned businesses. The initial term is one year with up to three additional one-year renewals by written agreement.
