Palm Beach County is soliciting qualifications for an annual contract to provide low voltage repair and/or replacement services on an as-needed basis. The contract is anticipated to be awarded for up to five years, with an initial not-to-exceed cumulative amount of $5,000,000. Individual work orders are generally expected to be less than $100,000 each, but may be larger. Contractors must have a minimum of five years of relevant business experience and have successfully completed a minimum of $300,000 in low voltage services construction projects per year for each of the previous three years. A valid Florida contractor's license is also required. Palm Beach County is committed to providing equitable opportunities for small and local businesses. The county's Small Business Development (SBD) program and its Affirmative Procurement Initiatives (APIs) will apply to this contract. Specific SBE goals or preferences may be outlined in the individual work order invitations.
