Description
The Bureau of Land Management requires a contractor to remove and dispose of a defunct spring diversion structure, pipeline, and trough; furnish and install a new spring diversion box with pea-gravel pack; install approximately 175 feet of buried 1-inch PVC pipeline, a float shut-off valve, and an approximately 625-gallon poly stock trough; and construct approximately 650 feet of steel pipe rail fence to protect the spring riparian area while allowing wildlife access. The contractor must furnish the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and disposal necessary to complete the work, including transporting materials from the Carson City District Office to the project site. The project is a firm-fixed-price, single-award construction contract with a 60-day performance period beginning upon notice to proceed and required completion by October 30, 2027. Evaluation uses a best-value trade-off process considering technical capability and approach, relevant experience, environmental compliance, schedule, quality assurance, past performance, and price. The quotation must include technical capability and approach, at least three recent and relevant past-performance examples from the previous five years, and firm-fixed pricing.
