NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR RESPONSE NO. 2026-09 NYE COUNTY COURTS SECURITY ENHANCEMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nye County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, invites responses and will receive proposals (bids) for the Nye County Courts Security Enhancement project, located at 1510 E. Basin Ave., Pahrump, NV 89060. The project consists of the demolition of existing structure at 1510 E. Basin, site work and re-paving of the area between new jail and Basin, installation of fencing to match jail, two power gates and a man gate to rear of courthouse, and the addition of jury boxes as well as bullet proofing the walls of the Justice Court House reception area. A MANDATORY pre-response meeting will be held on site THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2026 AT 8:00 A.M., located at 1510 E. Basin Ave., Pahrump, NV 89060. All responses must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked RFP No. 2026-09/PWP-NY-2027-025: NYE COUNTY COURTS SECURITY ENHANCEMENT, PAHRUMP, NV. No verbal, e-mailed, or facsimile transmitted responses will be accepted or considered. Responses will be accepted by the Nye County Finance Department, 1981 E. Description
Nye County is soliciting proposals for the Courts Security Enhancement project at the Nye County Justice Court House in Pahrump, Nevada. The work includes demolition of an existing structure, site work and repaving between the new jail and Basin Avenue, installation of fencing matching the jail, two power gates and one pedestrian gate at the rear of the courthouse, installation of jury boxes, and bullet-resistant wall improvements in the Justice Court House reception area. A mandatory pre-response meeting is scheduled on site for October 1, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Responses must be submitted as sealed envelopes; verbal, emailed, and faxed responses will not be accepted.
