Description
The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems & Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is soliciting quotes for windshield replacement and repair services for its municipal vehicle fleet. This informal solicitation aims to establish a vendor for ongoing service needs throughout Fiscal Year 2027. The selected vendor must be capable of providing timely service and reliable parts availability to minimize vehicle downtime and maintain operational readiness. The scope of work includes providing all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for windshield chip/crack repair, replacement of worn or damaged components, windshield tinting, removal, and replacement. Mobile repair services and emergency/priority repairs for public safety and essential vehicles are also required. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in windshield replacement and repair services, possess the necessary equipment and personnel, be capable of sourcing compatible replacement parts, and comply with all applicable safety requirements, including OSHA, EPA hazardous material handling, and California Vehicle Code tinting regulations. The contractor will also be responsible for vehicle pick-up and delivery services, coordinated through the BSFMD.
