Description
The City of Golden Valley is seeking a contractor to furnish and install specified nursery trees on city parks and other public properties. The requested plantings include white pine, Norway spruce, American elm, bicolor oak, and Ohio buckeye in specified sizes and quantities, along with labor, tools, equipment, watering during planting, mulching, pruning, wrapping, and related installation work. The contractor must maintain the trees during the warranty period and replace trees that are dead, dying, unhealthy, impaired, or otherwise nonconforming. The work must be completed by November 14, 2026. Proposals are based on unit prices, and estimated quantities may be increased or decreased by the City. Contractors must meet specified nursery-stock standards, obtain required permits and licenses, coordinate utility locating and traffic control as applicable, and maintain required insurance coverage.
