Description
The City of Blue Springs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide regular solid waste collection and disposal services at seven municipal locations. The contractor must furnish dumpsters, containers, equipment, vehicles, labor, transportation, and disposal services; establish collection schedules; prevent overfilled containers; return containers after collection; clean up waste spilled during collection; and maintain or replace damaged containers. The scope also includes forty-cubic-yard roll-off containers at the Pink Hill Park Shop and Public Works Shop, serviced on an as-needed basis. The proposal must include service schedules, container sizes, collection frequencies, pricing, additional services, contractor qualifications, key personnel, relevant experience and references, an itemized cost schedule, and a detailed timeline. A bid bond is required, while insurance documentation, affidavits, E-Verify documentation, and a W-9 are required after award with the contract rather than with the proposal.
