Description
The City of Dallas is soliciting construction services for the replacement, rehabilitation, and installation of approximately 30,880 linear feet of water and wastewater mains at 23 locations. The work includes approximately 15,900 linear feet of water-main construction, including 6-, 8-, and 12-inch PVC water pipe, water services, fire hydrants, valves, crossings, trench safety, paving, traffic control, and related restoration. Wastewater work includes approximately 14,980 linear feet of new or rehabilitated 8-, 10-, 16-, and 18-inch pressure-rated PVC mains, point repairs, lateral connections, manholes, access devices, television inspection, and related restoration. The project also includes horizontal directional drilling for an 8-inch water main in one schedule. Bids must include the completed bid proposal submittal and spreadsheet in PDF and Excel formats, a 5% bid bond, bidder's affidavit, environmental record affidavit, experience record, Form 25 Cement Preference Certification, acknowledgment of addenda, TWDB-0459, applicable BEH-FRM forms, TWDB-0552, TWDB-1105, and ED-103 and ED-104. The solicitation requires electronic submission through Euna Procurement and registration, and identifies a 25% minimum contractor self-performance requirement. Performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price are required after award.
