Description
Ramsey County, through its Parks & Recreation Department, is seeking proposals for an experienced operator to manage the year-round Keller Golf Course Clubhouse. The scope includes restaurant and bar operations, food and beverage service, liquor service, grab-and-go offerings, golf-course beverage-cart and halfway-house concessions, golf-related banquets, wedding receptions, private parties, meetings, and rental-space operations. The contractor must furnish labor, staffing, operating materials, and any additional equipment or furnishings needed; operate the restaurant and concessions whenever the course is open; provide a full-time qualified Food and Beverage Manager; obtain and maintain required licenses, including an on-sale liquor license from the City of Maplewood; provide menus, pricing, marketing, customer service, cleaning, routine kitchen-equipment maintenance, utilities, point-of-sale technology, and operational reporting. The County-owned clubhouse equipment and furnishings are available for use. Proposals are evaluated on a 50-page response consisting of a workplan, qualifications and experience, and rates or percentage-of-revenue information, with evaluation weighted 35 points for the workplan, 35 points for qualifications and experience, and 30 points for rates.
