Description
Workforce Solutions Capital Area Workforce Board is seeking a qualified individual or organization to provide supplemental professional accounting and fiscal support to its Fiscal Department. The scope includes preparing financial reports, schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation; performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies; providing accounting guidance; supporting audits, grant monitoring, and fiscal reviews; and offering technical assistance to fiscal staff and leadership. Services may include attendance at Board meetings and support by telephone, email, fax, personal contact, and appointment-based meetings. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; at least seven years of progressively responsible accounting and financial management experience, including three years in a senior financial leadership role; experience with governmental, nonprofit, or quasi-governmental accounting and grant-funded operations; knowledge of federal grant requirements and 2 CFR Part 200; proficiency with fund-accounting systems, preferably MIP Fund Accounting, and Microsoft Excel; and the ability to support financial statements, budgets, forecasts, internal controls, audits, and multiple funding sources. The initial contract is one year with up to four additional one-year extensions. Proposals must address organizational qualifications, relevant experience, at least four current client references, pricing, and cybersecurity and information-protection requirements.
