Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is soliciting quotes for the complete renovation of a bathroom and shower area at Sunmount DDSO Hostel #1800. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, demolition, disposal, site cleanup, structural repairs, plumbing, electrical work, waterproofing, tile and solid-surface finishes, painting, cabinetry, a new door and frame, exhaust fan, lighting, and ADA-compliant fixtures including a sink, toilet, grab bars, shower seat, mirrors, dispensers, and towel bars. Design and finish selections will be coordinated with OPWDD staff, with layout details finalized after award. The work must be performed in an occupied facility during approved weekday hours, with tools and materials secured daily and no hot work permitted. The project is a New York State public works project requiring prevailing wages and certified payrolls. The contractor must attend a mandatory site visit, provide a Department of Labor certificate number with the proposal, and be able to provide specified liability, workers’ compensation, and disability insurance. The contract work is to be completed within 30 days of award unless modified, and proposals must include a breakdown of materials, equipment, and labor charges.
