Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability information for the MK99 Fire Control System's MK81 Director Group, specifically the SPG-62 antenna and MK82 gun and guided missile director. The anticipated follow-on contract would provide evaluation, disassembly, repair, overhaul, coating removal and application, reassembly, testing support, technical support, parts and inventory management, tile application and kitting, quality assurance, packaging, and transportation. The draft statement of work identifies an approximate annual throughput of 15 MK82 directors and 20 SPG-62 antennas, with surge capacity of up to 30 directors and 50 antennas annually. Responses are not detailed proposals. Interested companies must submit a capability statement of no more than 10 pages, along with a cover sheet, general response information, a list of abbreviations and acronyms, and optional product literature or catalog excerpts. The response must address relevant radar overhaul experience, parts and Government-furnished property management, repair and manufacturing of replacement components, supplier controls, facility and lifting capabilities, coating and antenna repair qualifications, transportation, quality systems, cybersecurity, and risks or cost concerns in the draft statement of work. The anticipated contract is described as a five-year, firm-fixed-price, competitive IDIQ follow-on, and performance requires compliance with extensive security, quality, coating, facility, handling, and reporting requirements, including CMMC Level 2 self-certification and personnel requiring up to Secret clearances.
