Description
This is a sources-sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. The VA is assessing qualified vendors for full-service preventive maintenance, inspection, corrective repair, parts, labor, technical support, and software updates for two Government-owned Alcon Constellation LXT phacoemulsification units and their embedded lasers. The contractor would provide factory-certified replacement parts and perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and system testing. Respondents are asked to provide company and business information, a capability statement, and estimated pricing. The notice describes qualifications including certified technicians, access to service manuals and diagnostic keys, and at least two years of relevant Alcon equipment maintenance experience. It anticipates no subcontracting opportunity. Responses are due by email; the notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
