Description
The U.S. Army seeks commercial-off-the-shelf or non-developmental ultrasonic ocular scanner prototypes requiring little to no modification. The system must support A-Scan biometry, including axial-length measurement and intraocular-lens calculations, and B-Scan diagnostic imaging of the eye. Proposed systems must meet the stated FDA clearance or registration, power, and other technical requirements; UBM probes are also identified as a desired capability. Four prototype units are planned for operational and environmental testing, and vendors must provide technical representatives to support testing events. Proposals should address technical compliance, commercial maturity, maintenance and sustainment, cybersecurity, data rights, schedule, past performance, and cost. The response consists of four separately submitted PDF volumes: Executive Summary, Technical Approach, Management/Past Performance/Schedule, and Cost/Business Proposal. The proposal must also include the completed Trade Agreements Certificate and Data Rights Assertions Table. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months from award.
