The Village of Greenwood Lake has adopted its budget for the fiscal year June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027. The budget includes appropriations for legislative, judicial, executive, finance, staff, elections, shared services, special items, public safety (police, safety inspection), health, transportation (street maintenance, garage, street lighting), recreation (parks, playground, youth services, museum, food pantry, adult recreation), community services (zoning, planning, refuse collection, recycling, lake cleanup), employee benefits, debt services, and transfers. Estimated revenues include property taxes, sales tax, utility gross receipts, franchise fees, police fees, beach passes, building permits, fines, state and federal aid, and other miscellaneous revenues. The total budget is $5,417,711.
