Description
The City of Waco is seeking bids for construction along Bagby Avenue from South Fourth Street to South Twelfth Street. The work includes accessible curb ramps, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk improvements, fire hydrant installation or relocation, and irrigation work. The bid package includes a base bid and Alternate 1 with unit-price items, including 19 curb ramps, one relocated fire hydrant, four adjusted water valves, sewer clean-out relocation, and 150 linear feet of irrigation relocation and replacement. The engineering estimate for the base bid and Alternate 1 is $609,725. The project must be completed within 130 calendar days, and the prime contractor must self-perform at least 30% of the contract work. Bidders must submit pricing, 5% bid security, required forms and certifications, and signed acknowledgments of the addenda. Payment and performance bonds are required from the selected contractor. The solicitation requires both electronic submission through the designated portal and sealed physical bid delivery.
