Description
Clinton-Essex BOCES is requesting proposals for Category One data transmission and Internet access services. The requirement includes a self-provisioned network with four fiber strands (two pairs), intended to light four strands in the first year at 10 Gbps, with scalability to 25 Gbps for non-fiber self-provisioned solutions. Proposals may also address services provided over third-party networks and dark fiber lease or IRU alternatives. The scope includes installation and initial configuration, as well as Category One maintenance and operations. No network equipment or optics are requested; the applicant will provide its own optics. Fiber termination is planned at the first-floor IT closet at 1447 Military Turnpike and at the first-floor D-mark room of the 1585 building. The Form 470 identifies a range of one to four years and annual payment terms.
